The Pilar Push Tour is an advanced technical mountain bike tour. It begins as we enter a private nature reserve and start the “PUSH”; a 5k dirt road climb. Without doubt a challenging ascent, however the great views at the top of the Antigua valley’s most well known volcanoes makes it all worthwhile.

After a short break at the end of the up-hill, the single track adventure begins; your mountain bike has been thirsting for the trail ahead. The technical bike trails criss-cross farmland, dipping through forest and eventually snake down a narrow fast trail with a respectable drop-off to our constant left. Finally the trail descends rapidly including some steps and narrow cobblestone streets as we emerge at the entrance to the nature reserve again.

This advanced mountain bike tour will definitely get your blood pumping and adrenaline flowing. To finish off in style we can drop the bikes and freshen up with a dip in the fresh water pools (Not included in the price). You can even toast the great tour with a cold beer. “Cheers! Sick Ride!”
